Door to Door marketers are becoming a problem

Does anyone have insight into stopping a door to door ATT Fiber marketer in the Hermitage TN area?   He's got our neighborhood quite irritated.    We have no solicitation signs around the neighborhood.   I even have a "No Soliciting" sign on my door and he still comes knocking multiple times.   It's worse than the auto warrantee telemarketers.

Same here in Texas - 3 knocks in 24 hours, despite a No Solicitors sign right next to the doorbell and being told I'm not interested.  The answer is to cancel service.

We have had issues with a 3rd party contractor selling AT&T services for the last couple of days in Augusta, GA.  Our neighborhood has online discussion going to right now.  He has knocked on the door of a home and asked the female resident and asked if there were any men in the house.  This is 2024!  That question is never appropriate!  It set alarm bells off for that person and her kids.  He came to my home yesterday that has a No Soliciting sign and when I asked him if he was selling something, he said NO and then said I'm just letting you know that fiber is being run here soon.  My husband walked out on the front porch to see if he had left our yard and he was still in our yard and said "That's right I'm leaving your yard, punk!"  We also checked video and see him checking our cameras.  His badge was flipped, the name was not visible, and he is dressed like he's going camping instead of on a sales job.  We do have a photo of him but no name.  We are AT&T customers, but after these incidents we are considering switching our service due to the conduct of this 3rd party contractor.  Just wanted to leave this here in case any important person with AT&T actually reads these forums.  The impression that is being left by this 3rd party contractor is that you are allowing sketchy people to be contracted to sell your services door to door and this will and can cause your already existing customers to look at switching to a competitor.

At&T agrees to let third party contractors sell their services for them. However, AT&T does not hire the individual door-to-door salespersons. That is up to whoever has the contract, and it is their responsibility to thoroughly train and vet their employees.
