If that's what they are putting out for a new home/portal page there is nothing any of us users can do to get the older one back. Yahoo writes this stuff (compare with www.yahoo.com) and I don't know how much input att actually has in the matter. Sort of the same situation as the webmail. On the bright side I think some of the changes may have been done to make bringing up the page faster. It could be my imagination though since I don't use the att home page very much.
The page name is strange, i.e., "currently". For some reason that doesn't indicate permanence to me. Is this "currently" the way it is and it's going to change again? Just kidding.
The other strange thing about this is that the previous home page had the link start.att.net. But now, while start.att.net still works the "currently" home page start.att.net takes you to has the link currently.att.yahoo.com. So now yahoo is making no secret they have their paws in there. Maybe the page should be renamed "currently from yahoo for att"!
Maybe they dropped the portfolio stuff because they have a link to yahoo Finance along the jump points near the top. I believe you can register with that site to create a personal portfolio.

I googled this topic and found another version with comments. In one reply the point was made that Currently continually hijacks the browser home page setting, forcing the user to constantly reset it back to what they want, and there doesn't seem to be any way to prevent this from happening. The next commenter accused the previous one of being rude, saying something like, "All you have to do is change the home page back in settings. Isn't that precisely what we're trying to avoid doing repeatedly? So maybe the first comment was a bit rude but so is at&t!
