cell conditional call forwarding

I currently am able to conditionally forward my ATT Iphone calls to my office if unanswered or busy. However, it currently takes about 4 full rings on my phone before it forwards the call to my office. Nowadays, that seems to be too long for a caller to wait so they hang up. My question: Is there a way to dictate a lesser amount of rings prior to the call being automatically forwarded? Ideally, I would like two rings or even one.  Can anyone help.

Conditional call forwarding means when the phone call is not answered it will forward to another number where it will ring again for several times.

That's not what you want. You want just plain old ordinary all calls forwarded.

Or (my preferred)

Use an MMI code to enable Call Forwarding on your device:

  1. Dial *21*, followed by the 10-digit number you wish to forward the calls to, then dial #. For example, *21*1235556789# forwards your call to 123.555.6789.
  2. Push the CallSendTalk, or Receiver icon.
  3. Your wireless phone displays a confirmation message when Call Forwarding activates.

*For your security, you can only change your Call Forwarding settings from your wireless phone.

Hey thanks for responding to my question. However, I do want "conditional call forwarding" and not standard call forwarding.  I am currently using "conditional call forwarding (*61* for no answer) and (*62* for Busy).  Those work fine except that it takes 4 rings on my phone before it goes to my office phone.  I was looking for a way to set the number of rings on my phone to only one or two rings and then have it forward to the office phone.  My goal is for me to see who is calling on my phone and answer if I want to or allow it to go to my office phone.  Maybe I am looking for something that is not available.

You'll have to call AT&T to change the number of rings.

Thank you for sharing insights into conditional call forwarding and providing instructions for a more straightforward call forwarding process. The MMI code method you suggested seems convenient. In your experience, have you found this method to be efficient and reliable for enabling call forwarding on various devices? Additionally, are there any specific considerations or nuances users should be aware of when using this method?

We've recently moved our wireless service over to AT&T and are unable to activate this feature.  Would you mind sharing if you are on a standard account or business account?

Thank you for your reply.  However, I do want "conditional call forwarding" and not "all call forwarding.  For the last 10 years I have been able to conditionally forward my calls.  My phone would ring 3-4 times and if I did not want to answer it would then forward to my office manager's phone and ring there. In the last few months this has stopped working. I would accomplish this conditional call forwarding on my mobile phone by doing the following:

  1. Dial *61*, followed by the 10-digit number you wish to forward the calls to, then dial *11#. For example, *61*1235556789*11# forwards your call to 123.555.6789.
