I hate the latest software update to my Samsung Galaxy 6.

I really hate this new software update!!! I used to be able to see if I had any new text messages simply by looking at my phone - there would be little orange bubbles on the apps in the task bar at the bottom of the phone.  Those are completely gone now!!!  Also, when I open a menu, it stays open until I close it, rather than just closing automatically after I select an app from the menu.  Is there any where in the settings to change these features back to how they were before?

no there is no way to go back to the way it was.  I would tho clear your cache on the device.
