Phone calls ending after 4 hours
I’ve had AT&T for quite some time now, I just moved and now my calls drop after 3 hours and 59 minutes, sometimes exactly 4. Why is this suddenly happening now? It never did before. I have an iPhone 13 with unlimited everything.

Unless you are having an active conversation, your phone will hang up when it detects dead air after 4 hours

Why’d this only start happening when I moved though ? This was never an issue before.

Are you just leaving the 'line' open for 4 hours? Seems an excessively long time to be on a call, never mind often enough to be a complaint.

Hey @emminemmss,We understand you're concerned about having trouble with your iPhone 13.
Here are some troubleshooting steps we recommend:
Update your iPhone or iPad to the latest version of iOS.
Go to Settings > Cellular. Then:
For iPhone, tap Cellular Data Options, then turn on Enable LTE.
If you’re still experiencing issues after trying these steps, you may want to try resetting your network settings. This will erase all the Wi-Fi, Cellular, VPN, and APN settings to factory defaults. To do this, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
We hope this helps you resolve the issue. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let me know.
Thank you for contacting AT&T Community & Forums,

4-hour calls ending is also occurring with non-iPhones. I have a Google Pixel Pro 6 and after 4 hours of talking the call automatically drops. ?????

Cellular phone calls are not intended to go that long. If not talking longer than 4 hours is a constant issue, perhaps reevaluate your phone habits.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they are limiting the length of calls due to congestion issues. How many people actually need to be on a call for 4 hours?
