Temporarily deactivate service for specific hours

I work a varied schedule, some days/some nights. My 16 year old son has been taking advantage of this and has been staying up until 2 am talking on his phone. This had now started affecting his school and other obligations because he"s " too tired"? REALLY? He bailed on  church Sunday and today he " doesn't feel well", and is missing school. I want to turn off ALL phone functions from 10 pm until 7 am. I saw a tv commercial with a mom " unplugging" her family at the dinner table. I'm not sure if it was an AT&T ad or not. Is there a way for me to manually suspend/shut off ALL functions to his line for a few hours each day?

Thanks

Yes, it is called Smart Limits. It is a paid for service, you can read about it here: https://www.att.com/shop/wireless/smartlimits.html. Unfortunately, it does not block internet access over WiFi.

ATT has a subscription service, smart limits, which allow you to shut off calls and text (except 911.  However it doesn’t limit Wifi, you have to deal with your home internet separately.  Kids being clever, will figure out how to call and text using a non cellular app.
