Using a Consumer Cellular phone....
I'm switching my daughter to AT&T and she has a Consumer Cellular iPhone 8 she purchased from Consumer Cellular. Can she use this phone if I buy a line for her on our service?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! This is a great question! I would love to provide the information.
For another carrier device to work on the AT&T network, it would be required to be unlocked from Consumer Cellular. I would recommend contacting them and see what their requirements are in order for them to issue an unlock. Once, completed you can visit an nearby AT&T location and they can get it all set up for you!

AT&T generally doesn’t sell phones without AT&T service. Why would you want to buy a phone from AT&T and use it with a different carrier? Since this is a 6 year old thread, please start a new thread if there are further questions.
