Visual Voicemail

Have new Samsung S24+ and every time I open Visual Voicemail it prompts me to either choose SET UP or NOT NOW. I choose SET UP and it tells me whether I have any messages and can select * to close program. It them yields a screen that says it is checking my account information. Why does it take me to SET UP every time and have to check my account information? When I used on my S20 it was much less hassle.

Please ensure that your 4G LTE mobile data is enabled as this is essential in using the visual voicemail feature. Power cycle your device to reset it and reset your network settings to refresh your connection. You'll need to navigate to Settings app>General management>Reset>Reset network settings

 

We also recommend you to upgrade your phone to the latest version as this ensures all apps are running on the latest software version by going here: https://www.att.com/support/article/wireless/KM1070617/. Also, check for any AT&T Visual Voicemail app updates that may be needed, you may also need to reinstall the app if the app did not come pre-installed on the device.
