Auto Pay Due Date Keeps Changing

I have an AT&T prepaid account setup on auto-draft. Since the beginning of the year, my bill was due on the 26th of the month, so I planned around that date. However, for the past 3 months, the date has moved back to the 25th, 24th, and now the 23rd. I feel like AT&T is trying to cheat me out of the full month that I paid for.

What is the definition of a "month of service?" 30 days? A calendar month?

Why does my due date keep changing?

Can I setup auto-draft to come out on the same day every month?

Prepaid plans are not monthly, they are for 30 days. Your renew date will change in any month that does not have exactly 30 days. Over the course of the year, it will change by 5 days.
