Help cancelling pre-paid account from Australia!

Desperately seeking help and advise as I can't get in touch with AT&T directly from Australia.

I was in the States for a three week holiday and bought a pre-paid US$65 service for my Australian cell phone. I researched this before leaving home and read all the information. I was guaranteed by the store assistant in Austin TX that it was a one-off payment, and that when I left the country I didn't need to do anything to stop or cancel the account.

I have just discovered that I have been charged, via debit card, for April and May (I left the US on March 30). I didn't sign-up for Auto Pay.

There is no online chat for Pre-Paid and I can't find a simple email address to contact AT&T.

I believe this is an unauthorised payment and have details from my bank to stop it in the future, but I need AT&T to help with this process AND reimburse the last two payments.

Any help and advise greatly appreciated.

Your best bet is cancel the card used for payment.  If seems auto pay was ON.

Hey, we just got a reply from Support on this...

   Try this first:

Outside of the U.S. - 1-314-925-6925 - The agent can call them back at their number so they don't rack up big toll charges.

     Inside the U.S. -  1-800-901-9878

English and Spanish spoken.  It's possible - depending on the agent they reach - they may be transferred within the company.

Thanks for the tip @lizdance40

As soon as I can manage the time difference to call the U.S (we're 14 to 17 hours ahead!) I'll get right on it and follow up here.
