Pay as you Go SIM in Europe

Hi everybody,

I am an European customer and I purchased my Pay as you Go sim card on 2012 in Park City (Utah) because I thought it was better to call friends in the States by an american mobile number during my stay instead of an European number.

When I come back home I noticed that the service was not available outside USA unless the client had an American Bank Account available but I decided to keep the number anyway and I used to refill the credit all years by $100 for 1 year of service.

Now I raised $391.46 of credit and on June they will become $491.46. So, I was wondering whether AT&T gave the possibility to unlock the service providing an European bank account or there is not any solution for that.

Maybe rules were changed in the meantime, I don't know.

Thanks million.

Andrea

No. A GoPhone number will not work out of the USA. It has nothing to do with your bank and everything to do with the SIM card limitations.
