Prepaid Autopay discount upon changing plans

I changed my plan before the due date. From $50 ($40) to $65 ($55). I’m on autopay. I was charged $65 plus taxes. Should i be charged the discounted amount upon changing plans? Or does it start on the next cycle? Thank you!
