Refill Confusion

I added a $50 dollar refill card to my account on the 24th (the expiration date being the 26th), and while the account says it now has a balance of $50 it still shows the same expiration date and the only data on the account is from the 1G package that was added previously.

I didn't see anything concerning this particular issue in the help page, but my question is whether the account is going to use the $50 in its balance to refill the data rather than letting the service go inactive.

Hi @arieldm

Your plan renews automatically when the previous month expires, so in this case, it should have renewed on the 26th. Did it work?

Thanks,

It worked, yes.

I have one other question now, though; if it only renews when the previous month expires, one couldn't actually renew it during the month when it expires could they? As in, if 5G doesn't late an entire month, after 5G card or adding $50.00 to the account won't give it another 5G. As far as I'm aware, it seems the only option is to continuously add 1G plans instead. Is that correct?

Hi @arieldm

If your data runs out within 30 days, it's more economical to add data in 1GB packages instead of renewing the entire plan early. So the answer is yes, when you add $50 to your plan, it doesn't automatically add any data to your plan, the plan is set up to auto-renew every 30 days, and if you need more data, you can add some extra money and manually purchase it in 1GB packs.

Thanks,

Dmitriy

I'm having the same issue - how do I buy extra data before my plan auto-renews? It currently has a $60 balance but no data.

i have the same issue. I took the $25 plan 2GB and now that I consumed all before the expiration date I refill it with another $25 but still cannot use the internet plan, because i need to wait for the 1st plan to expired, this is not good at all!
