AT&T Mark the Spot IOS app 2017 issues

I have been using the AT&T Mark the Spot app for quite some time now and I really like that AT&T offers it, I've actually seen network improvements, I have occasionally got notified about stuff and I think it's an awesome app. however recently after almost a year of not having to report anything, I dug out the app to report some slow data issues in my area. much to my surprise it didn't work and now I have two pending pins. and when I jumped from my iPhone 4s to my iPad Mini 1 I ran back into the issue that never got resolved with the app so it crashes upon submitting. And I've been through app issues before so I decided to delete the app and reinstall from the App Store much to no surprise it did the exact same thing. so then I decided to roll back the iPad app version to a version that didn't crash which led me to version 4.1 whereupon immediately finding out that it is also going to stick a pin on the map even though I have a data connection that will work albeit relatively slowly. { In the meantime the whole county is having Internet issues provider independent which makes me wonder if there's a backbone issue at the local cell tower or a configuration issue ( it took me 3 page reloads from "this page cannot be displayed" just to get to the write a post page ) }.
Back on the topic of the app, it's almost like the server that the App sends the data to is not accessible and thus it has to store the report(s).
I have also tried on an iPhoneSE and had the same result where it's stored the report.

I guess if this never actually gets fixed we will finally have an answer to the question "whether this app actually does help the network". a.k.a. it's a fake thermostat on the office wall that makes you feel happy.

I might not get back for a reply very soon as I have a weird interaction with my version of Firefox on the AT&T website constantly trying to reload every ATT tab that I open and never finishing which then causes very high processor use which bogs down everything including my speech to text software. Then there's the weird issues with other websites and with the width layout which is happening on the AT&T site but only in the side bar.

Hello @imark77,

Mark the Spot is fantastic resource to let us know directly when service issues happen.  It is concerning to hear it is not working with the iOS system.  It will be my pleasure to help!

Thank you for letting us know what troubleshooting steps you have already done. I would like to research more into this issue, I will be sending you a private message to your Forum’s Inbox.  Please keep an eye out for it!

I have the exact same issues and probably 10 or 15 pens that will not upload. How can this be resolved. Considering leaving AT&T because the areas that I have flagged are so poor.

Hello, I am an AT&T user and also have used the Mark the Spot app in the past. I am having the same issue where I have 10 to 15 pounds and it will not upload. I am considering leaving AT&T because the areas that I have identified are so poor. I would love to see AT&T have a chance to make amends but the app is not helping. Please help.
