AT&T Outage central Scottsdale AZ
For 3 days I've been in your stores and on the phone with support. My phone is switching to SOS from my home and in certain pockets around town. What is going on? I've changed SIM card, told it was my "old" phone and have now upgraded and surprise, SOS once I got home. It's still very much a problem. Who can answer my question about what is happening? Nothing comes up on outages - HOWEVER, when I'm in your store, others come in with the same issue. Is the problem being addressed? Do you not put notifications out to your team - in store or phone support? Why is it not showing up in outages? This has to be a cell tower/network issue.
Please advise.

Unfortunately, you probably aren’t going to get an answer here. The official response is likely to be to contact them, which you say you’ve already done.

Or they tell you to use the outage map, which you say you’ve already done.
BTW, this is almost never an “old phone” problem, especially if it still works in other areas. The people at the store just want to sell you a new phone, and that’s all they know. Hopefully, you’re still within the 14 day return, and still have your old phone to go back to.
