Can I request some boosters in Holiday Inn hotel building for all customers? The signal in building is very weak. Thanks.
We will grand open our IHG hotel on May 1st. We check the Verizon cell phone signal is very weak in the building, outside is good. Our address is 400 N Atlantic Blvd., Monterey Park, CA 91754. Can I request some boosters in Holiday Inn hotel building for all customers? The signal in building is very weak. Thanks.
My email is [email scrubbed].
Sincerely,
Kevin

There are commercial solutions for what you want. Basically enterprise versions of the microcells that AT&T is now selling under the grossly misleading brand of "Cell Booster." Look at https://www.corning.com/in-building-networks/worldwide/en/home/applications/cellular-solutions/small-cell.html

As I mentioned before, I would not recommend AT&T's Cell Booster or the Cell Booster Pro for that type of usage. They are designed for residential use only.

If you’re looking to boost the Verizon signal, why are you asking on an AT&T forum? In any case asking on a public internet forum isn’t the way this is done.

If mobile signal is good outside but not inside strongly suggests the building design and materials such as metals are limiting the penetration of cellular service.
Suggest your company provide increased coverage using the hotel Wi-Fi devices for guests, a mesh system or similar.

If we can use any wifi or mesh system to increase cell phone signal coverage, I think that is booster means. We love to do so if we can. The cell phone towers outside cover outside area signal well, how can we use router or mesh connect with cell phone tower and extend? That is why I am here to post this help. Your thoughts are what we want, only cell phone provider can do this extend, right? Thanks.

The Corning Everon system that @JefferMC recommends is where I would start. I would not recommend AT&T's Cell Booster.

With your IGH hotel without providing WIFI upon opening will not be a selling point for potential guests. This will be the first IGH hotel to not offer WiFi service. I have stayed in hotels overseas built in the 1800s with WiFi.

I would say that Wi-Fi is a minimum. However, cellular service without having to connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi would be even better.

This all seems like something that should be done at a corporate level. Is the hotel chain so cheap that they make individual owners have to figure out their own communications solutions?
