International Day Pass

Hi, I am using the international day pass on Seoul South Korea but since landing I have been unable to connect to a local carrier. I just used the international day pass in Sydney, Australia and Singapore and had no problem connecting to the local carrier.

I have a Google Pixel 6 and data roaming is on. I am using the exact same settings as I did in Sydney and Singapore.  Please help.

Reset your network settings and restart your phone.  Some people have had problems roaming with pixel 6 phones. It may have something to do with the phones capability to connect with the local networks. Service bands on the phone may not be 'world phone's capable.

Not exactly what I would expect from Google. I would expect them to make a phone compatible worldwide

Hey there @Clmuashsher,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are here to help you in any way possible.

As you've mentioned you used International Day Pass and you did not face any issues, we'd like to help you out.
Out of the 210+ countries AT&T provides service to, South Korea is one among them, so you shouldn't be facing issues.
Please cross-check the following steps once:

  • To use cellular data, make sure Data Roaming is turned on in your device settings.
  • To call or send a message to the U.S., dial +1 followed by the 10-digit number. The “+” sign usually appears if you press and hold the “0” key on your dial pad.
  • To call or send a message to another country, dial + (country code) followed by the local phone number.
  • Some devices have settings that automatically add the correct prefix or country code when you’re calling numbers in your contacts. For iOS, turn on Dial Assist in your device Settings.

Please find more info on this here: https://www.att.com/support/article/wireless/KM1458476/

If everything is being followed in the proper way, and you're still facing issues, please reach out to our International team at: +1.314.925.6925. They'll be able to assist you on this.

Let us know if you have any further questions.
