Little to no coverage in Millis

Hi, I have been using the Mark the Spot app for quite some time now and despite reporting Dropped calls, No Coverage, Failed calls, etc. have seen zero actual action towards improving the signal. I get the automated reply but still can't get any resolution. I recently turned on WiFi calling and have yet to see if that makes a difference. I am a bit leery of this though, do I need to turn it off when I go somewhere else with a wifi signal? Will calling via wifi slow down my streaming of TV channels?

I just wish more would be done to improve the signal strength in my area, I have to know where Im going and time my calls accordingly, (not just an issue at home).

We have been with AT&T for over a decade now.

Sincerely,

Hello @EShoemaker.

We don’t like to hear that you have had service issues, and we’re glad you’re using our Wi-Fi calling! To answer your questions, Wi-Fi calling will be used when available, and when it is not or the internet connection is too weak, the phone will switch to the network calling. If you go to an area where you automatically connect to Wi-Fi, calling will be available. Otherwise you would have to log in to the new Wi-Fi network to be able to use it.

In terms of slowing your streaming, if you are streaming on your device the added data usage may slow it down. If you are using two separate devices, it will depend on how many other devices you have connected to the internet and how fast your internet connection is. Thanks for reaching out to us!
