The number from the tower is going to be the contact number for getting it fixed.  Calling regular wireless customer service to complain it isn’t fixed isn’t going to do any good.  That’s not the type of stuff they deal with.  Either they’ll have no clue or send you off to the same number thats on the tower.  If it isn’t fixed fast enough, you can try calling the police or your local government.

Based upon a recent previous post of loud noise from cell tower the issue was an alarm on a Generac generator... likely low fuel.

ATT sold most of their (9100+) towers in 2013 to Crown Castle and the balance of 1000+ to Peppertree in 2019. ATT now rents space on towers belonging to other companies. Therefore the contact number on the tower fence is who needs to be called.

Is there a sign on the tower or fence around it with a contact number?  AT&T likely doesn’t even own the tower.

It's actually in a wooded area on someone's property. I'll notify the owner and see if I can get that info.

Update:

I called the number provided by the tower and found out that other neighbors had also contacted them. They said the sound was coming from AT&T and that they had already contacted AT&T. I was told that AT&T said it would be fixed yesterday, 6/12. The sound is still blaring and causing a disturbance to us as well as the neighbors.

I noticed that another post (below) on the same subject received a response on this platform so that's why I posted.

Cell Tower emitting high pitched noise (6/22/22)

The cell tower on the property behind my mother-in-laws home started emitting a high pitched noise over a week ago. It is quite loud. I tried calling the ATT problem reporting number at 800-288-2020 but no one could help me. How can I report this problem to someone who can repair the tower?

Hello, @jgoode488! We want to help! Let's meet in a Direct Message to discuss the cell tower making a high pitch noise.

AT&T no longer does DM through the forums, so that’s an old post.  If they even read this thread, their only response will be to tell you to contact them, which means wading through the menus and AI, and if you finally get through to a human, hoping they can help you.

ATTHelp no longer provides DMs in 2024  only information about choosing a way to contact using the Contact us information found on bottom of page, call, chat, social media.
