Hello @jimius,

We'd be more than happy to take a closer look into why you're receiving this error message when you call this specific phone number.

This could be occurring due to the person you're trying to reach being in an area with little to no coverage.

How long has this been going on?

Does this person have AT&T for their wireless carrier as well?

Also, does this occur with any of your other contacts?

Please let us know.

We'll be patiently awaiting your response.

This could be occurring due to the person you're trying to reach being in an area with little to no coverage. No, they do not have a cell phone. His name is Tim Archer in case you have an home or cell number for me. It's really good news I have for him and my name is Jim Frank

How long has this been going on? I have not tried to get ahold of Tim in about at year so I don't know

Does this person have AT&T for their wireless carrier as well? He never told me.

Also, does this occur with any of your other contacts? Nobody else

Thank you for any help you can give me. You can just tell him to call me if you like. He has my number. The news is about his motorhome.

We'll be patiently awaiting your response.

Hello @jimius,

Thank you for informing us.

Because this is only occurring with one phone number, it's possible that this person could be experiencing issues with the wireless service in their area.

We recommend waiting some time and trying to complete your phone call again soon.

Hope this helps!

Good morning @jimius, thanks for reaching out to us. We are more than happy to answer all your questions and concerns regarding your Error, US01LV.

I read through your messages and I see that you haven't had contact with your friend Tim for about a year, and would like to share some good news. There's a possibility they may have changed their phone number or can not access their supporting network.

  • Did you try adding a "1 +" before typing in their phone number?
  • Have you tried contacting him a different way? Does he have an email you think you can reach him on? (Please do not share their email address on this public Forum.)
  • Are you trying to reach him internationally?
  • Our other suggestion would be to troubleshoot your device and making sure your phone settings are correct. (This guide will walk you step-by-step using the same exact steps we work with.)

If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know. We are always happy to help. Thank you for being a part of our AT&T Community.

I Am experiencing the same response calling any landline in Missouri. Missouri is a state that mandated all landline providers to convert to 10 digit dial. Is it possible that AT&T Toll trunks to these providers is not set correctly and possibly removing digits as they were prior to 2021...7 digit dialing?

My calls go straight to the recording without hitting the far end local switch, even adding 1+ or without.

Though AT&T doesn't provide a list of messages and the technical meaning of them (unfortunately), "US01LV" appears to mean one of two things:

1) The recipient has blocked calls from your number.

2) The recipient has carrier-based Voicemail that has a configuration issue.

My question added here and now is.....

I get this message code when placing any call but if I select 3g I can place any call

I have ported from T-Mobile to TracFone and adopted this problem.

Note: no working voicemail,

Note: everything else works as it should and,

I can receive calls just not dial out on LTE.....only 3g. I was told by AT&T this is a setting at TracFone central not AT&T, however I figured since TracFone uses AT&T towers/network they would better answer the question than the louses at TracFone.  ..... I guess it's time for Me to contact the FCC on this as not even 911 can be dialed unless I demote to 3g, and 3g is supposedly shutting down soon.

I get this calling my mortgage provider, tried both 18004016587 and 8004016587.  Both give me "your call cannot be completed as dialed".  US01LV is the error as well, but the Mortgage company claims that they are able to call successfully and are receiving calls inbound from other customers.  At this point this appears to be an AT&T issue.
