Missing text messages

Let's look into that text messaging trend on your phone, @NYCGUY2000.

First, if you've used the text messaging app for a long time chances are that the accumulated cache data became corrupted. This can interfere with the normal text activity resulting in old messages disappearing. If you haven't already, you should try resolving your experience by powering your device off then back on again.  

1. Press and hold the Volume down and Side buttons.
2. Then select Power off > Power off.
3. To turn the device back on, press and hold the Side button until the screen lights up.

This action, known as powercycling, resets your device and allows it to download any important firmware updates.

@Bella1cooper2max3   Less than 30 minutes have elapsed since your very first post and getting upset about not getting an answer.  That’s not really enough time for a forum like this.  In addition, this forum isn’t a way to contact AT&T.  They don’t do direct support through these forums.  All they will do is tell you to contact them using the methods at the contact us link at the bottom of the page.
