No Coverage at Home: Charlotte, NC
I have two phones on my plan. My Mom's Phone does not get ANY phone coverage at her house or her neighborhood. I am highly considering going to Verizon. I have called several times and I have also used AT&T's app to report the BAD coverage. There has not been any changes in months. While at home, my Mom can not make phone calls or send regular text messages. She also can receive phone calls and receive regular text messages. What is the point?? If this situation is not settled soon, I will be forced to cancel my service with AT&T. I have been with the company for over 20 years!!! Can someone please provide remedy for me? I don't want to leave, but I will.

Sorry to hear you are running into issues. Did your mom have service before? If she did it may just be temporary if they are working on a tower in the area. If she is in a low coverage area your best bet is going to be getting in touch with our customer care by dialing 611 and seeing if they can get you into a microcell (signal booster) for the house. There are a few requirements for a microcell to work, she'll have to have high speed internet at the house and be in an area where microcell is allowed. Give it a shot they work pretty well and should help remedy the issue! Hope this helps!

The AT& T reception at Charlotte 28262 is very poor, Inside the home there is no signal at all. we have to keep the door always open to get the calls. we are missing office calls . we are starting to give alternate mobile number from T-MObile which is working good at this situation. Going through the forum , I see that this issue persists from 2014 onwards at Charlotte. It should be good, if AT&T Team spents some time to resolve the issue permanently at this issue, when interacting with my friend(s) circle, they informed, they changed provider due to that.. There is much competition to get new customers from other provider and I want to know your customer commitment before changing.

Do you have an ATT phone that is wifi calling capable?
Many phones are able to use home wifi for calls and text.
