No service in Chandler(Phoenix), Arizona

My family recently moved from Gilbert to Chandler and our reception and data signal is to the point of unusable unless connected to WiFi.  iMessages cannot be sent or received and phone calls frequently going straight to voicemail.

Phoenix metro area is not the middle of nowhere and one of the largest in the US so how is it possible for signal to be this bad in what seems to be a five mile radius, with no mountains or obstructions in sight?  I refuse to believe a major provider would not have coverage in this area and the coverage maps do in fact show full 5G here.  My phones also show medium to full bars of 5G usually.

We have 10 lines on this account paying $600 or more a month and this is absolute garbage.

If you think AT&T can resolve this problem quickly, they cannot. Talk to your new neighbors and find out who they use for service and switch your 10 lines.

Your phones can be paid off online, then unlocked, you may find there's a good deal bringing your own device to your new service provider.

That means very little (see photo)

That dot is where I live.  According to this close-up map of my small neighborhood , I should have coverage.   But not one single service person, delivery person, or work person that has come to my house has had  T-Mobile service.

The maps are approximate.  The fact that your phone shows a signal means the map is "not wrong" according to the FCC.  The signal is there. The fact you can't use it seems to be immaterial to both the service providers and the FCC.

In the end, it's 100% on us customers to make the switch to one that works.

Just switch to Verizon. That's what I did. It's blazing fast everywhere and better in every way.. service is better, in store experience is better, the app is better, just great. Even Visible+ is better than At&t since 2021.

Don't listen to the lunatic that commented here before. Yeah, we should pay 100s and 100s of $$$ and put up with poop service lol. T-Mobile is bad too, Verizon works best in a lot of the West these days. At&t used to be good pre-5G and now it (Edited per community guidelines).
