Phone has been searching for signal since 11:00 pm last night..
My IPhone has been searching for signal nonstop since last night. I am unable to call AT&T to ask questions because the phone has no service. I've restarted the phone multiple times in an attempt to get it working again. I have also put it in airplane mode and then turned airplane mode off to see if that would resolve the issue. None of this has worked. I also don't know the account information as it is with my parents 2.5 hrs away and I cannot call them because the phone is not working.

Hello @spence21,
I can understand how concerning it can be when the phone is not receiving signal. It will be my pleasure to help!
What it sounds like is the SIM card isn’t communicating with our network. Great news! This is an easy fix! Please power off the phone completely, and then remove the SIM card > clean gold contacts > re-insert into device > power phone back on, and test.
You can get the steps on how to remove the SIM at our Device Support Page! Once there, please select your phone’s make and model, and then please go to Tutorials > About Your Device > Phone Assembly/Insert SIM.
Should the phone still show it is searching for a signal; the next step is to replace the SIM card. You can get one for free at any of our retail locations! Our store locator tool is fantastic for locating the nearest location to you. Another perk is you can set up an appointment to reduce wait time when you arrive!
Please let me know if these steps help! Have a marvelous day!
