Poor cellular service 36471

Service in zip code 36471 has consistently degraded over time.  Disruptions appear random and occur on multiple iphone devices.  In some instances calls will not go through and roll directly to voicemail.  In other instances, call will connect; however, discussions are impossible as spoken words are garbled making it impractical to conduct a conversation.  Are there any plans to review cell towers in the area to determine if parts are defective?

Hi @Sambo36471 we understand the importance of having active connection. We've checked and everything seems to be clear from our end.

First, we want to make sure you have a signal. Check our network coverage map and our Outage map to confirm coverage in your area. Sign in to get the latest info about outages affecting your AT&T services.

  • Try calling the number again, by using Wi-Fi calling. Wi-Fi Calling lets you talk and text from indoor locations where it’s hard even for a strong cellular signal to reach
  • Make sure your software’s up to date by going to our AT&T Software update page and signing in.
  • Turn off call forwarding. Press #21# on your phone and then the CallSendTalk, or Receiver key.
  • Check that you aren’t blocking calls, select your devices make and model and then calls and follow the prompts.

For step-by-step troubleshooting visit our Device support page and sign in to your AT&T account then select "Start". Meet us back here with the results if you have any additional questions, and we'll be happy to assist with additional troubleshooting options for your device connection.
