Poor Network Coverage

Why is coverage so poor in South Garland area near I-30? Coverage is very spotty and inconsistent than it's ever been. I had a rep even tell me it was because of a lake that's 3-4 miles east of me was the reason for the spottiness. Really at this point I'm just ready to pull the plug because there's just too many constant issues and I'm sick of CS gaslighting me.

Unfortunately, you aren’t going to get any answers here.  We’re all customers and have no control over coverage.  The only official response you’ll get from AT&T in this forum is to contact them, which it sounds like you’ve already done.

The CS reps you talk to also have no control over coverage or can tell you any details about the coverage in your specific area.  Unless there is a temporary specific problem with a tower or antenna, which they likely already know about, they aren’t going to do anything.  If another carrier has better coverage, then you should consider switching.

Let's put it this way The "why" is not relevant.

The only relevant question is, "why are you still with the service provider if you're not happy with their network coverage?" You should be switching to a different service provider

No service provider can cover everywhere. It is 100% on us customers to select the network that serves us best
