S22 Ultra on AT&T displaying other networks

<span;>I have a Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-S908U), got it brand new when it came out. Never had any problems until recently I keep losing 5g and cellular service constantly. I changed SIM cards, reset network settings, had Samsungs techs do a diagnostic and clear it of any hardware issues. Now today as i swipe down from the main menu, I noticed my network shows Verizon. And now tonight, it shows T-Mobile! What's happening? </span;>

Hello @Bamonroe,

We understand how frustrating it can be to experience network issues with your Galaxy S22 Ultra. Let’s troubleshoot this together!

  1. Network Fluctuations: Seeing different carriers (Verizon and T-Mobile) might be due to network fluctuations. Sometimes your phone switches between available networks based on signal strength and other factors.

  2. Preferred Network Mode: Check your phone’s preferred network mode. Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network mode. Make sure it’s set to “5G/4G/3G/2G (Auto Connect)” or a similar option.

  3. Carrier Settings: Ensure your phone has the latest carrier settings. Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. This ensures your phone communicates correctly with the carrier network.

  4. Network Reset: Since you’ve already reset network settings, let’s try it again. Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings. Confirm and restart your phone.

  5. SIM Card: Double-check that your SIM card is properly inserted. Sometimes a loose SIM card can cause connectivity issues.

Remember, network issues can be complex, but these steps should help narrow down the problem.

I hope this information helps.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thank you,

Jessica, AT&T Community Specialist.
