Very Bad Coverage in Leander, Tx

Hello,

I live in Leander, Texas which is the fastest growning city in the Austin area. I have extreme difficulty using my cellphone at home because I have "No Service" or only 1 bar. As more and more home are completed near me I know this is going to get worse. Does anyone know if there are plans for another cell tower in this area to boost reception?

Hi there @dlsahli

I’m sorry to hear that service in your home is currently poor. I’d be happy to help! While we cannot share information regarding tower locations or future tower constructions in the area, I would like to share a possible immediate solution to this issue. You may have heard of a device we offer called the AT&T Microcell. This device provides personal cell service in your home through your existing broadband internet connection. You then receive a steady signal which can be used only by devices you approve on your Microcell account. For more information, please click here.

The AT&T Microcell is available from AT&T stores for a price of $149.99, and is currently eligible for a $75 mail-in rebate.

I hope this helps!

9 year old thread.  Nothing more to say about it.  If it hasn’t gotten better in 9 years, it likely never will.
