Will I get charge for making calls from the Us to Mexico/Canada or viceversa?

I have the Unlimited Your Way plan, the Unlimited Starter to be specific. What I understand is that I can use my phone there as usual, but I'm not 100% sure about making phone calls. Some say that I can, but others say that I need to add an International Calling feature. Help, please!

No.

The three plans on the unlimited your way plan, former Elite plan, current premium, extra, and starter include calls texts and data in and between the USA and both Mexico and Canada.

Also included are roaming in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands on Liberty Mobile at no charge.

(Its long distance if you are in Mexico and call Canada, or in Canada and call Mexico. There's no charge if you are in the USA to call either)

Has this changed with the new plans ? I see the premium PL has free talk and text in all Latin American, but what about Mexico and Canada being included in the Extra EL Plan?

This information is in your online account under the customer service summary. It includes roam North America (which includes Canada and Mexico)

{ All but one of AT&t's monthly plans for the last 5 years have included Canada and Mexico.  The only monthly plan that does not include free roaming in Canada and Mexico is the $30, 5 GB prepaid plan}

Your customer service summary  includes the information on the 20 Latin American countries under roam Latin America.

It includes the cost of your plan before discounts

It will also include any other information related to your plan.

It's a good idea to read it so you know what you're paying for
