year abroad
My wife and I will be spending a year in Europe starting in September. Whats the best way to continue service while there? Is it best to suspend our service here and enroll in temporary service there?

Suspending your service won’t stop you getting billed every month for the service you aren’t using. Not sure what you mean by temporary service over there, but unless your phone is unlocked, you won’t be able to use non-AT&T SIMs. If you want to keep using AT&T in Europe, you’d have to use International day pass, which is $12/month, capped at $120 per billing period.

Or Pay off and unlock your phones, switch both of your phone numbers to Google voice
Google voice is a free virtual number. It will not work for financial institutions or PayPal.
Purchase local service when you get to your destination. You can switch your phone number back from Google voice to a physical service provider when you return to the US
