Bringing an AT&T device to Straight Talk
If I purchase a phone from someone on an AT&T plan, and they have not yet paid off the device, can I just pop out the AT&T sim and pop in my ST sim and it work?

Thanks for the post. That's a great question.
Before you purchase an AT&T branded device to unlock and use on another carrier's network - make sure the device installment plan is paid in full. If the device installment plan is not paid in full, the device unlock request will be denied & you will not be able to use it with a Straight Talk SIM.
Here are the eligibility requirements to unlock AT&T branded devices.
