Galaxy A6 Fails to Install 11/6/2019 Software Update

My Samsung Galaxy A6 successfully downloads the latest software update released on November 6, 2019, but always experiences an error at 24% during installation and reboots without updating, telling me the installation was interrupted. I have more than enough memory for the update, I cleared the cache through the boot menu, and I've used Device Care to optimize the phone, but it never installs. I've tried the things AT&T's troubleshooting menu recommended, to no avail. The update downloads, the phone restarts to install, it hits an error at 24%, it restarts without updating, and I'm back at square one.

Greetings @cebergman

We hate to hear that you're having problems with downloading new software on your device. Allow us to lend a hand!

It is important to make sure your device is AT&T branded, and is active on the AT&T wireless service to continue the update process. Your device also has to be connected to a available WIFI to prevent downloading interruptions.

You can try factory resetting then downloading the software update again, but first make sure your device is backed up and synced to a storage cloud before doing the reset and download.

If you continue to have issues with downloading the software, feel free to reach out Samsung for additional assistance.

We hope this is helpful.
