GS10+ Connectivity Issues

I have recently upgraded my phone to a Galaxy S 9+. I have been having issues with it connecting and getting cell service around town. I essentially cannot make phone calls in my city unless I am on Wi-fi calling. The infuriating part is that I travel a good bit around the country and just cannot get good reception in almost any place I go. I am not sure if this is a phone issue or ATT issue. With my old phone I had dead spots but now it seems like it is everywhere I go. Has anyone experienced similar issues? I am in the North Georgia are and Metro Atlanta area.
