How do I change the default app for contacts on my Samsung Galaxy S7?
Samsung Galaxy S7 Android operating system
I prefer to use my Google contacts. That is what I have been building for a number of years.
However, when I started using this phone, I must have chosen something to utilize or prefer the Samsung app.
Is there a setting that I can change so Google Contacts pop up in the Phone, Messaging or other apps when needed?

You may already be backing up to google
****in settings, Accounts, google account, are contacts synced?
You can add the google contacts app to the phone if you like and make it default, but it may be redundant.
