How to re-enable SMS previews on lock screen after Galaxy Note 3 Lollipop update?

I upgraded to Lollipop on my Galaxy Note 3 yesterday, and most of it is very good.  However, one thing that seems to be missing is that I am not getting previews of my SMS messages on my lock screen; I am only getting a notification that I have a new message.  I even have selected the option to show all notifications on the lock screen, but I do not get a preview of my SMS messages, only the notification.

I would like to know, is there a way to re-enable the previews of SMS messages on my lock screen?  Please let me know.
