Messaging on my Samsung S7

I used to be able to create a message and add up to ten pictures or 9 pictures and 1 video.  Now I am unable to send more than 1000kb which is only three pictures in my message.  I really hate having to send the person four messages to get all my pictures/videos in the message.  What happen?  Did I change a setting that has me messed up or was there an update?  I notice now that it says "converting to MMS" and I don't recall getting that before.  Is there a way to increase the 1000kb or what can I do to be able to send more pictures again?

Hi @buddyshome,

Thanks for contacting us! We'd love to assist. When did you begin experiencing this issue with messaging? Is your device updated with the latest software? Are you using the default messenger app?

There is a setting you can use to clear the cache and data for your messenger app. To go here, go to the Apps Menu > Settings > Applications > Applications Manager. Search for your default messaging app here, then tap it. Tap Storage > Clear Cache > Clear Data > Go back to Home Screen.

Try this, and then see if you are able to send multiple pictures again. Let us know if this helps!

Thank you Collin!  Unfortunately that didn't work for me.  I seldom use Messenger (I personally don't like it) so in my problem I am referring to "Messages" on my Samsung S7.  I did try your steps for Messages but it still will only let me send up to 1000kb in pictures per message, which is about three pictures.
