New S5 4.4.4 update issues

did you uninstall and reinstall handcent?  I could be an problem with the app.  I had this problem with hangouts when going to 5.0.2 on my nexus 6.  I just uninstalled hangouts and reinstalled and all was good

I got the Handecent vibrating alerts to work now, but my alerts to my gear still isn't working (i can receive incoming calls but no emails, sms etc that i was getting before) I'll try something else to see if it works

So i did a factory reset on the gear and still not getting any notifications except for phone calls

you may have to do a factory reset to get it to work again.  Just remember to back up all personal data.
