Samsung Galaxy "Camera Failed" Fix
This is not a question, but rather a possible answer to a lot of posts about the "Warning: Camera Failed" error on Galaxy devices when trying to start the Camera app. Short of a factory reset, I had tried all of the standard troubleshooting steps found in multiple forum posts. What has worked for me on two Galaxy devices (S2 and S5) is to open the Gallery app and keep it open for at least a minute. This allows it to scan the device for photos and build a cache. The Camera and Gallery apps are connected, as the Gallery app is used by Camera to open and browse photos taken. For whatever reason, allowing Gallery to open and scan for photos before opening Camera has resolved the "Camera Failed" error for me multiple times.

I'm glad this post may have helped some people. I can confirm that removing the battery and holding down the power button for at least two minutes fixes the problem for me temporarily. This is apparently a known issue with some Galaxy S5's.
