Samsung S5 won't power up or charge

My Samsung S5 won't power up or charge. I've had it on a wall charger for 5+ hours, and I have also tried from USB on my computer. I swapped batteries with my boyfriend's S5 and it still will not power up. I've tried holding the power button for 30 seconds. Also tried holding the power button, home button, and volume down button for 30 seconds. No luck.

Any other ideas? The phone is 10 monthis old.

Sounds like the charging connector has failed - happened on the S4 a lot, too. Probably will need to get it warranty exchanged (since it's less than a year old!)

If you have a center nearby, this is the fastest way

If not, call the 800 number and you can arrange for an exchange that way.

Thanks, that's what I ended up doing. They said it could be that or the motherboard.
