Samsung S7 Loud Smoke Detector Alarm from phone

Hello all, shrill smoke detector alarm sound just started happening to my wife's Samsung S7. Its been doing it for about a month now. THen it will stop for a few days then it has just started up again about 15mins ago. It was doing it several times daily. We hadn't heard it in a couple weeks towards the beginning of the month and then about 3:30 am it started going off like the fire alarm. It is without a doubt the loudest sound her or even my phone can make. We live in an apartment and the little family that lives upstairs has asked us if we had started a fire down here. I have done searches many times online and there are several Youtube videos of the same thing happening to other peoples phone but no one has offered a solution. I think tomorrow I will take the phone back and order her a new one, which is a shame as she's had this about 14 months. It really is super loud and pretty much forces you stop what you are doing to quickly remove the batter or force shut the phone off. I have tried, wiping the cache, soft resetting, removing the battery and nothing stops this noise from randomly going off.

So let me know if anyone has solved this issue, please.
