Sim network pin blocked. Enter sim network PUK - what is this and where do I get the codes?
I have been struggling with unlocking my phone with AT&T for a month now. They have provided the same unlock code multiple times which never worked. Now the phone is asking "Sim network pin blocked. Enter sim network PUK". AT&T is saying that I need to get this PUK from the new carrier. However, the phone is locked by AT&T.
1) What exactly is this message
2) What codes do I need and
3) Which carrier needs to provide the codes to unblock and unlock my phone?

I suggest moving to another cellular provider. AT&T never helped me resolve this and although I still have this phone, it might as well be in the garbage as it is still locked by AT&T and unusable.
