Unlock Samsung Galaxy S4 AT@T Phone
I have the network code to unlock my Samsung Galaxy S4 how do I proceed to unlock the phone with the code?
I would think that somebody out there could help me with the steps necessary to accomplish this task since I have the proper code needed to unlock the phone.
I suspect that if I stick a TMobile Sim Card in the phone it should prompt me for the network code I have but I have never done this so I would like someone to give me some guidance if possible.

Eactly that. Turn off phone. Put in forign sim. Turn on phone. Unlock phone if locked. Enter code when prompted.

I have an old S4 SGH-i337 here that is fully functioning from the days I was an AT&T customer. I would like to unlock and update it with Lineage to use as backup or to donate. The Android 5 installed currently is practically unusable. How can I get an unlock code? Thanks

To make sure that we are understanding you correctly, you are trying to do a carrier unlock from AT&T to Lineage is that correct?
If so, here is how you get that done:
Once the unlock has been accepted, you should receive information in your email that contains the unlock code and the instructions how to use it.

Matthew, thank you for the kind reply. Lineage is an operating system that can be installed on most Android phones. What I need are instructions to unlock the bootloader of the phone which is locked by AT&T to install the necessary software to accept the new operating system.
