No.

The last plan to include HBO, now called Max, was the unlimited Elite plan which was grandfathered over a year ago. The unlimited premium plan never included HBO Max

If you have HBO through your TV provider you may have access that way. I have MAX through my TV provider.

HBO Max is the same thing as Max because “HBO Max” rebranded to “Max” recently. AT&T Unlimited Elite is the only AT&T Wireless plan to include Max (formerly HBO Max). Some AT&T Internet subscribers may also have Max through their Internet plan, but that is also no longer offered. AT&T Unlimited Premium and AT&T Unlimited Premium PL do not include access to Max.

Hey @juliohaney, I understand that you would like to confirm this information.

Let's share the information you need.

How to add Max?

To add Max, you need to sign in with your AT&T user ID and password for the AT&T service that gives you access to Max. If you're signing in for the first time, select Connect to Provider and choose AT&T. If you enter the ID for the wrong service, they will email you a hint.

These are the plans includes the Max benefit.

  • AT&T Unlimited Elite*
  • AT&T Unlimited & More Premium (with HBO)*
  • AT&T Unlimited Plus*
  • AT&T Unlimited Choice*
  • AT&T Unlimited Choice II*
  • AT&T Unlimited Plus Enhanced*
  • AT&T Unlimited Choice Enhanced*

If you're unsure, sign in to your myAT&T account and check your package or plan info.

*Retired/grandfathered and not available for new customers or upgrades. Wireless/Internet customers must have registered to use Max to continue receiving access.

Hope this information helps, and if you have any further queries, feel free to contact us.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community & Forums,

Well I have the AT&T Unlimited Plus Plan and I did register to use Max but yet it will not allow me to log in any longer. It tells me I do not have access with that "AT&T" provider.

@ShellBell1973  Did you update/modify your plan since you first registered HBO Max (Max)? Try this:

Contact Max Support at 855-442-6629, or go to Max.com, sign in with your AT&T login on a laptop, phone or tablet first,  and then create a Max username and password. You can then use that username and password to sign in on your television or other devices by “sign in” instead of signing in with the provider. That has worked for some but not all.
