$10 credit to U-Verse Account

Where on the link provided tvpromise.com do you go to get the $10 credit for the loss of my local channel Fox Channel 8?

The non-helpful responses on these forums crack me up..  The extremely rude and terse responses really make people love ATT even more let me tell ya!!!

The answer to your question is --- pull down the menu and select the TV service you have and the zip code and press the search button to find out what channels are currently not available.   When the search is done, a pop-up window with information about the status of such channels will be displayed and at the bottom of the screen, there will be the offer for a one-time credit of 10.00......

Service updates for U-verse in Dallas-Ft Worth TX

We’re in active discussions with Nexstar Media Group, the owner of local KDAF station(s) CW and NewsNation. Nexstar is demanding more than double the amount it charges for DIRECTV customers to access approximately 200 local stations spanning more than 100 metro areas.

Unfortunately, Nexstar is the nation’s largest broadcaster and has a track record of demanding higher fees and often forces pay TV providers to stop carrying their channels. While Nexstar alone retains the rights to air their programming, DIRECTV is doing everything it can to return these channels in Dallas-Ft Worth TX.

We apologize to our customers for the temporary disruption and appreciate their patience as we work to protect their interests by insisting on the best rates for the content they enjoy.

We’ll keep working to bring your station(s) back and do all we can to help keep you connected, offer temporary bill credits and try to make up in some small manner for this very large inconvenience. We appreciate your loyalty and thank you for being a DIRECTV customer.

I don’t know what you’re doing wrong but I was able to log in and confirm the one time $10 credit.
