Is ATT U-Verse TV still available to new customers?

Is ATT U-Verse TV still available to new customers? I had U-Verse TV years ago and tried a different service, now looking to come back to U-Verse.

No.  Uverse TV is no longer being offered.

No.  AT&T quit offering U-verse TV to new subscribers years ago.   Existing subscribers may continue with it, with regular suggestions to move to DIRECTV STREAM.

Sure. And you can call the bank and ask for a million dollars.

@bkbkc  Please keep us updated on this since AT&T has made it VERY clear that UverseTV is no longer being offered.

Do you have an install date scheduled?

@JefferMC This is going to be interesting….

Prediction:  The customer was sold DirecTV Stream but the genius at CS said it was UverseTV because that’s what they asked for.  😵‍💫

"also must be paired with AT&T Internet to function."

This part is wrong...unless it's a requirement for the claim being made.

My prediction? A box for DirecTV Stream will show up. There's a newer box and I can't remember the code name for it.

It was always an ordering/installation requirement.  But then you can later drop AT&T Internet service, but you do still need the connection.  I didn't have any problem with that part of the claim.

Uverse IPTV will require a full tech installation with $99 installation charge.

No equipment will be shipped unless it is DirecTv Streaming receiver.

Uverse IPTV could only be offered in areas with either FTTN or FTTP which is currently about 35+ million addresses out of the 75 million total within footprint or slightly better than 45% of addresses.

Locations that are ATT internet ADSL2+ (speeds 18 or less), Legacy DSL or never had hardwired option only cellular would not be available as an IPTV service, which required VRAD with FTTN or FTTP.

Are you saying that UverseTV is still being offered when the “official” statement is:
