Promotional discount and bill increases
U verse bill keeps on rising. We benefited from a promotion on the 2nd year to keep the monthly rate down. Now, even that promotion expired and Att increase comes along...
Called a retention agent and they don't have a new promotion available, however their value offer to retain us is to increase the speed from 12 to 18mpbs. As i am satisfied with the current speed, this has no value to me.
It's not $10 to $15 add'l per month only, it's a matter of principle. While they try anything to promote and capture new customers, the existing customers don't get rewarded for loyalty and paying on time. Someone figured at Att; <
Our internet speed/cost is putting us in 15th position around the world....why? Mostly because of oligopoly and price fixing. This business model is more and more obsolete..Retain your customers and entice new ones!
Strongly feeling about switching...any advice?

Have you had any success with your switching? Same happened to me, monthly jumped $40. This is unacceptable!! It does not cost me that much to light and heat my house. I am really P O!
