Contract Commitment/Early Termination Fees (ETFs): If you ordered service(s) with a promotional price a one year term agreement applies. A prorated ETF ($180) will apply if standalone Internet service is disconnected in the first 12 months. If you do not own your premises: prior to installation, you must obtain permission from the owner (or authorized representative) to allow AT&T to use the premises' inside wiring and to make required alterations to the property. Rarely, installation of AT&T U-verse may not be possible at your address. AT&T U-verse Voice service only: Battery backup power is required for service, including 911 dialing, in the event of a power outage. AT&T does not provide battery backup equipment for your service. I hope you will post with a follow up. AT&T customer service is terrible and most of the time getting any issues resolved requires a Herculean effort.
