Uverse owes me money and refuses to pay

I was a loyal, never once late on a payment, Uverse 300 customer for over a decade. When I decided to cancel my subscription, I neatly packed all equipment and mail it on time. I received the email, "Congratulations your equipment has been returned." About 2 weeks later they charged me $164.02. I called and asked why and the cust rep said just in case I didn't pay in the allotted timeframe. We clearly agreed I did. 

That was Dec of 2022. I cannot tell you how many times I have called and talked to "supervisors" who are always in agreement I should have the money reimbursed. They always put me on this ridiculous long hold and come back several times stating they are working on it, then promise to either reimburse the money or call me back. Both to no avail. The latest lie is that it was closed because the money was reimbursed. NOT THE CASE and I can prove it with bank statements. They want me to give up and let it go but I cannot, especially when I think about how I did everything accordingly. I have never dealt with such an awful and disgraceful company and I am almost 60.

...... or file an online complaint with the BBB. That gets forwarded to AT&T Upper Management and someone will contact you. That way you can discuss the matter directly with someone in the Office of the President if you can't get anywhere with ATTHelp. Just have all of your documentation in order.
