BEE SWARM in ATT Box in yard

Hi, I tried to call customer service but was given an agent whose first language was not English. He did not know what a bee was and eventually told me the only thing to do is call 911 which obviously is not the right answer. Anyway, could someone please reach out to me to get the bee swarm removed from the AT&T box located in my yard. The bees have already stung my dogs and my lawn man.

Bee / wasp spray is what a tech would use…

Some communities have a local person that will relocate a hive, but you would need to see if such exists in your area.

There's too many to use a spray safely. A third party company needs to come remove them for AT&T. Their technicians would not have enough experience with this. I just need to be contacted by a manager. I cannot get anyone on their chat or customer service number to give me an answer or connect me with a supervisor.

@amberstanford  If the swarm is congregating on the outside of the utility box then Google for local bee keepers. We've had a similar situation where the bee keeper came out, around dusk when the bees are less active, removed the hive, and took it with him without harming the bees. They then sell the hives, once they are calmed to local farmers for their fields. All we paid was a few dollars for the gas the amateur bee keeper used to come out. Our hive was about the size of a basket ball.

Now, if the hive is inside the utility box that's a different matter but the bee keeper may have an idea on how to remove it safely, for the bees and your neighborhood. It's technically not AT&T's responsibility for bee hive removal.

All you can do is request a service call for exposed wires…

It will be up to the tech how to handle but expect they will just remove the cover and spray away

Or call you local animal / pest control

I suspect what you think are bees are likely yellow jackets, a type of wasp,

I hadn't thought that the bee swarm would be yellow jackets as @my thoughts mentioned. That's an entirely different can of worms 😉. A honey bee swarm will be taken care of by a bee keeper. Yellow jackets no, but the bee keeper may have an idea or knows of someone who can take care of yellow jackets, etc.

Are they the bees that come out of the mouth of the dogs that when they bark, bees bite your butt?

This is from a retrospective and supposedly an outtake. In the actual episode, they went inside and locked the door on Homer.
