DVR Install/setup

My VIP2250 failed and I was sent and received a VIP2262 V2. After completing the self-install and I got a message: "Account unavailable This Set Top Box does not match the account settings." No help from the online services because this is not a normal problem. Had appointment with tech today but he did not show up. I think the 2262 needs to be programmed but don't know if this can be done by AT&T remotely. Communications with service has been very difficult. My U-Verse has been down for 6 weeks. Technician didn't show up today. Need Forum help get the 2262 issue resolved. Thank you in advance!

Message is of now corrupt GUI, likely the old unit has not been removed from your account... trying to install the new unit when an empty slot does not exist blacklist the new unit.

To resolve the new unit now "dirty" needs to be "scrubbed clean" then create an empty slot on account and install the new unit... tech II support online or tech on site is necessary to resolve.
